KBGR: Bangor

Just prior to the Second World War, the U.S. Army Air Corps made Bangor Army Air Field the furthest East embarkation point for military aircraft flying to Europe on the Great Circle Route.

Handmade by a seventh generation weaver using only traditional methods on a vintage wood loom, each piece shows respect to the dwindling yet resilient artisans who still practice the art of hand weaving.  100% American merino wool, each sapphire blue and vibrant yellow piece features our signature extra length to allow for tying the elusive Go Around knot.
